TOMO Global Health received ASME Education Innovation Award and Founder Masako Shimato presented TOMO activities and achievements in its conference!

Masako, the founder, presented the project TOMO Global Health at the final presentation session with Shi Jia (Case Study lead) and Alma (Community Management lead).

We are honoured to receive the Grand Prize among 75 applications and 12 finalists.

The Vision Hacker Award (VHA) is a project funded by ETIC and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In 2021, VHA aims to find and support young “vision hackers” from Japan - leaders who tackle global health issues listed in SDGs 3 by conducting projects especially in low- and middle-income countries. As a SEED Award winner, we receive financial support, mentoring, and networking opportunities with various professionals and organizations.
