Our Background

The dynamic situation surrounding healthcare affects every individual in the world, not only in physical health but also in social, cultural, or psychological aspects.

These problems span across borders and may pose more significant burdens on more vulnerable groups of people. Additionally, recent advances in artificial intelligence and digital technologies have opened up new opportunities in healthcare.

Then, what skills do healthcare professionals need, in order to overcome complex healthcare problems, expand the field of healthcare and eventually improve health and well-being all over the world?

We believe one answer is a strong global network among healthcare leaders, who:

  1. Have strong competencies (leadership, communication, critical thinking) to tackle local healthcare issues with global perspectives

  2. Facilitate global collaborations by involving both healthcare and non-healthcare sectors.

However, the current healthcare education does not sufficiently emphasise the importance of competencies nor the utilisation of the fast-developing technologies.

Therefore, we, as young healthcare students or professionals, want to take initiative by creating an online mutual learning environment, where we grow to be healthcare leaders with like-minded colleagues worldwide.
